Coming soon to iOS & Apple Watch

Privacy

What Reflect knows about you. Nothing leaves your phone.

Effective June 8, 2026

Reflect is built the way the app works: on your device, with no account and no server. This page is the plain-language version of the App Store "App Privacy" label — and it is literally true.

Data Not Collected

Reflect does not collect your data. No account, no analytics off your device, no health data transmitted, no advertising identifiers, no third-party trackers.

Apple Health — what is read, and why

With your permission, Reflect reads workout records from Apple Health — type, distance, duration, pace, and date — so it can match them against your training plan and surface drift across your block.

  • This data is read on your device only. It is never uploaded, sold, or shared.
  • It is used to compare workouts to a plan — not for any medical, diagnostic, or performance-guarantee purpose.
  • You can grant or revoke Apple Health access at any time in iOS Settings; Reflect requests the minimum it needs.

On-device processing

Matching, pattern detection, and the week recap all run on your iPhone and Apple Watch. There is no Reflect server. Nothing about your training is sent to us, because there is no "us" to send it to.

Optional iCloud backup

If you turn on backup, your plans and history sync through CloudKit in your own private iCloud account, encrypted and governed by Apple's terms. Reflect cannot read that data, and it never passes through any server we operate. Backup is off until you choose to enable it.

No analytics, trackers, or third parties

The Reflect app and this website load no third-party scripts, no analytics SDKs, and set no cookies. There is nothing to opt out of, because there is nothing collecting.

Coaches and shared reports

When you send a coach report, you export and share it — as a file or link you control. The recipient needs no app and no account, and your underlying health data stays on your phone. Reflect is not involved in the transmission.

Children

Reflect is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect information from them. Because the app collects no data at all, this is a matter of intent as much as architecture.

Changes to this policy

If this policy ever changes, the effective date above will change with it, and the prior intent — no data collection — will not be quietly reversed. Any future analytics would be cookieless, privacy-preserving, and disclosed here first.
